Day 2

Property Design, Zones and Sectors - Sun, Wind, Fire Angles - Site Analysis, Contours - Keyline Analysis - Introduction to Plants - Plant Identification and Selection - Tree Species Selection
PRACTICAL: Site Analysis, Contour Layout and Swale Construction
EVENING: Culinary and Medicinal Herbs

Day 3

Introduction to Water - Water Storage, Rainwater, Springs, Wells, Ponds, Dams - Swales and Pans - Water Conservation - Greywater Systems and Composting Toilets - Ponds and Aquaculture
PRACTICAL: Bank Erosion Control, Garden Pond and Greywater Leech Field Construction

Zones  3, 4, 5 Out to the Boundaries - Wildfire Prevention, Wlndbreaks, Timber Forestry, Coppicing - Intercropping and Cover Cropping - Crop Mulch, Tree Mulch, Compost, Natural Fertilizers
PRACTICAL Tree and Plant Cuttings, Grafting, Pruning, Tree Planting
